INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF CHEMISTRY – FORUM & CLOSING CEREMONY
Objectives
- Developing and adapting the concept to reach a wide public, composed of experts as well as students.
- Polish the image of chemistry and draw the attention of the youngsters in a fun and interactive way.
- Managing protocol, such as ensuring a swift welcome of the guests so that the audience is seated in time for the entrance of HRH Prince Philippe of Belgium.
Actions
- General coordination of the Closing Ceremony and Young Leaders Forum in collaboration with UNESCO, the European Commission, UCB, GSK, Dupont, Dow, BASF and Solvay.
- Development of a tailored event strategy: creation of Young Leaders Forums in order to attract young people and to restore the image of chemistry.
- Logistics & administrative coordination: venue, audiovisual material, catering, transportation, conference materials, protocol management, press conference, registration of delegates, secretariat, hotel booking.
Results
- Successful Closing Ceremony of 800 participants and Young Leaders Forum with 200 participants.
- The presence H.M. the King of Belgium and various ministers.
- Great enthusiasm expressed by our client, stakeholders, participants and companies for the concept and the content of the event.
